Tycko & Zavareei LLP is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for the 2024-2026 Tycko & Zavareei LLP Public Interest Fellowship (the “Fellowship”). The Firm is hiring two Fellows – one based in Washington, D.C. and one based in Oakland, CA – for this Fellowship term.
The Tycko & Zavareei LLP Public Interest Fellowship, founded in 2012, is an excellent opportunity for recent law school graduates to work side-by-side with the seasoned litigators of the firm. The Fellowship is intended for individuals with a demonstrated commitment to a career in public interest law. During the Fellowship term, the Fellows will each have the opportunity to spend three months working directly for a public interest organization based in D.C. or California.
Past Fellows have worked with the following well-established, highly respected non-profits:
- Human Rights First
- The National Women’s Law Center
- Bread for the City
- National Consumer Law Center
- Public Justice
- Tzedek DC
- Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs
The Tycko & Zavareei LLP Public Interest Fellowship is another important way that the firm turns its strong commitment to public interest work into action.
The current Tycko & Zavareei LLP Public Interest Fellows are Jaclyn Tayabji, Cort Carlson, and Schuyler Standley.
We accept and consider applications from 3L law students and judicial law clerks on a rolling basis, and encourage early applications. September 5, 2023, however, is the deadline for applying for the 2024-2026 Fellowship term.
